Qatar Customs, represented by the Maritime Customs Department, has launched the process of linking the image analysis systems (NeoTech) of the x-ray machines with the clearance single window (Al Nadeeb) system, the General Authority of Customs said in a tweet Wednesday.
The linking is the first of its kind and it can speed up the inspection process and reduce the release time and lighten the burden on inspectors, the tweet said.
The launching of the linking of the systems took place in the presence of Mohamad Ahmed Al Mohannadi, the Deputy Chairman of the Authority for Customs Affairs.
