Oman records 2,243 Coronavirus cases, 46 deaths

People register to get vaccinated at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre in the capital Muscat during the second phase of the national immunisation plan against Covid-19.

The Omani Ministry of Health confirmed on Monday 2,243 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 264,302.

The Ministry said that 46 new Covid-19-related deaths were reported, bringing the total number of deaths to 3,013.

The Ministry added that 1,720 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 231,718 recoveries, while the number of hospitalized people reached 1,650 cases and 506 cases are in intensive care. (QNA)
