Beautiful Memories of Palestine, a pictorial journey through Palestine is currently on view at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Library until September 30. The exhibition features books from MIA’s Rare Book Collection which are largely published in European languages as travel journals, stories and histories, depicting a great fascination for the Arab world.
A series of programmes are planned alongside the exhibition including webinars, and embroidery and landscape painting workshops. The exhibition can also be viewed online through the library page of MIA’s website: www.mia.org.qa/en/library
The MIA Library is open from Saturday to Thursday between 9am and 7pm, and on Friday, from 1pm to 7 pm.
In keeping with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Public Health, a limited number of visitors and staff will be allowed inside each museum. Visitors will be required to reserve tickets in advance on the Qatar Museums website: https://visit.qm.org.qa/
