Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) recently hosted the second show in the series of online talk shows – ‘Rapport with Principal’, planned to be conducted through the ICC Student’s Forum, on the topic of happiness and holistic development in students’ life.
ICC President P N Babu Rajan, in his speech, highlighted the importance of happiness in everyone’s life and appreciated the guest principal for selecting the topic. Asna Nafees, renowned academician and principal DPS Modern Indian School, was the keynote speaker. She emphasised the need of happiness for overall growth and development of a student. She said that happiness is increased by sharing and caring for others. She also answered the questions raised by the students and cleared their doubts with her knowledge and experience.
The event was hosted by Kamla Thakur, Head of Activity Coordinator & Education, and was conducted by Shweta Koshti, Head of Cultural Activities. Arya Kanade of DPS-Modern Indian School welcomed the guest and attendees. Arya Nanda Devi of Ideal Indian School delivered the vote of thanks. Over 20 students asked questions from the speaker. ICC Vice President Subramanya Hebbagelu and all ICC committee members took active part in conducting the event which was attended by students of various Indian schools, parents, and prominent members of the community.
