Ibn Khaldun Centre for Humanities and Social Sciences at Qatar University (QU) has launched the Ibn Khaldun Centre Award for interdisciplinary studies to bridge the relationship between social sciences and forensic sciences.
The requirements for applying for the award are that the research should be an inter-research between social sciences and forensic sciences based on concepts, theories or approaches from the field of social sciences in the field of forensic sciences, or vice versa, the research should be related to one of the social sciences such as education, sociology, anthropology, psychology, management science or media.
The researcher should adhere to the scientific methodology in writing the research of scientific originality and documentation. The research should not have been previously published and it should not be less than 10,000 words.
The prize for the competition of $10,000, is sponsored by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs. In the event of two candidates winning the first place, the prize is to be divided equally between them.
The deadline for submitting complete research is January 1, 2022, and the winner will be announced on or before March 1, 2022. Ibn Khaldun Centre will have the sole right to publish the winning work across its various platforms.
