Department of Meteorology warns of poor horizontal visibility

Weather inshore until 6 pm on Thursday will be hazy to misty with chance of fog at places at first, becomes hot daytime, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected poor horizontal visibility at places by late night.

Offshore will be hazy with misty to foggy at places at first, the report added, warning of poor horizontal visibility expected at places at first.

Wind inshore will be variable less than 05 knot at first, becomes northwesterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 knot.

Offshore, it will be variable mainly northwesterly 03 to 13 knot. Visibility will be 4 to 8/2 kilometers or less at places at first. Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet, while offshore it will be 1 to 3 feet.
