Department of Meteorology warns of poor horizontal visibility

Weather inshore until 6 pm on Wednesday will be hazy and misty to foggy at places at first, becomes hot daytime, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of poor horizontal visibility at places at first.

Offshore will be hazy and misty to foggy at places at first and by night, the report added, warning of poor visibility at first and by night.

Wind inshore will be variable less than 05 knot at first, becomes northwesterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 knot.

Offshore, it will be northeasterly to southeasterly 03 to 13 knot. Visibility will be 4 to 8/2 kilometres or less at places at first.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet, while offshore it will be 1 to 3 feet.
