The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in co-operation with Alfardan Automobiles, dealer of BMW in Qatar, has announced the recall of BMW 420i Cabrio and M440i xDrive Cabrio models of 2021 due to a possible malfunction in the side airbag, for which it may not correctly deploy.
The recall campaign comes within the framework of the MoCI's continuous efforts to protect consumers and ensure that dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The ministry has said it will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and will communicate with customers to ensure that they have carried out the necessary repairs.
