Al Daayen Municipality's cleanliness department has carried out regular campaigns to deal with the problem of flies and other insects in the Dukhan area, in addition to another campaign against rodents around houses in Umm Qarn and Leabib. This come as part of the municipality's continuous efforts to control the spread of insects and rodents in such key places and to maintain public health, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment has said in a statement. Meanwhile, Al Rayyan Municipality's cleanliness section has conducted a campaign to combat the problem of insects and rodents there. The campaign covered various commercial streets, residential areas, slaughterhouses as well as deserted areas and swamps. In addition, the campaign included the disinfection and sanitisation of health centres and quarantine areas to maintain public health and safety.
