Senior grade students of Bangladesh MHM School recently took part in a virtual seminar on ‘Thinking Ahead’, arranged by Bangladesh embassy.
Iftekhar Ahmad, CFO, Ali bin Ali, and a governing body member of the school, enlightened the participants as the keynote speaker.
Students asked various questions to the speaker during the nearly 90-minute seminar.
Hosted by Zulfikar Azad, school vice-principal, the programme was joined by the Bangladesh embassy officials, director, principal, teaching staff, and guardians along with the students of grade X-XII.
The students also participated in a presentation named ‘Thinking Ahead-Career Choices, Life and You,’ presented by the keynote speaker. Topics such as students’ problems with career choices and pragmatic solutions, challenges students of present generations may face and how to overcome them, and how to cultivate positive attitudes towards life, were explained with practical examples by the speaker.
In the second session, the students got a chance to query about their future career as well as the solutions of the problems.
The seminar came to an end with a vote of thanks proposed by the principal and director of the school.
They thanked the Bangladesh embassy for organising the seminar and Ahmad for sharing his knowledge with the youngsters.
