The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced the closure of the left turn at Al Mirqab Intersection for those coming from Mohammed bin Al-Qasim Street while keeping one lane open in opposite direction for those coming from Suhaim bin Hamad Intersection for two weeks from Friday.
The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to allow the completion of road works. Road users coming from Mohammed bin Al-Qasim Street and heading towards Al Sadd Intersection can turn right towards Suhaim bin Hamad Intersection and make a U-turn to continue to their destinations.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
