The Omani Ministry of Health confirmed on Wednesday 2,142 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 240,708.

The Ministry said that 26 new Covid-19-related deaths were reported, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,591.

The Ministry added that 744 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 212,808 recoveries, while the number of hospitalized people reached 1,282 cases and 383 cases are in intensive care. (QNA)
