The State of Qatar participated in the 42nd Session of the Conference of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), which is being held from 14 to 18 June.
HE the Ambassador of Qatar to the Italian Republic and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Agencies in Rome Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki chaired Qatar's delegation participating in the session.
Representatives of 193 member countries of FAO will participate in the conference, which will take several decisions related to the Covid-19 pandemic, climate changes, high prices of agricultural foodstuffs, and a decrease in agricultural food production in many countries, especially in the Near East and North Africa.
