Qatar Friday announced the launch of the passenger's online registration platform, which will expedite entry procedures into the country.
The platform will be currently used for arrivals through Abu Samra borders by registering at www.ehteraz.gov.qa, the Ministry of Public Health tweeted on Friday.
Travellers must apply through the platform no more than 72 hours prior to arrival time and at least six hours before it. For Qataris and residents, the ID number must be entered, for GCC citizens, the passport number, and for visitors the visa and passport numbers.
Information such as the type of Covid-19 vaccine and date of last dose, and the date of last infection with Covid-19 for recovered travellers must be entered.
To complete registration in the platform the following attachments must be uploaded: Copies of passport, certified vaccination certificate, negative PCR test result, hotel quarantine reservation for unvaccinated individuals or those coming from high risk countries
