Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met today in Nur Sultan with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan HE Mukhtar Tleuberdi.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, and regional and international developments.
The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed the State of Qatar's keenness to deepen cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan in various fields, and to promote and develop the distinguished relations between the two countries to broader horizons.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan attended the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) and Kazakhstan regarding support for the construction of a maternity hospital in Almaty province in Kazakhstan.
