His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met at his Amiri Diwan Office on Monday with Prime Minister of the State of Palestine Dr Mohammad Shtayyeh and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country.
At the outset of the meeting, Dr Shtayyeh briefed the Amir on the developments in Palestine and the attacks and violations of the Palestinian people's rights by the Israeli occupation forces. He also thanked the Amir for the permanent support of Qatar to Palestine, especially with regard to the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip. The Amir affirmed Qatar's firm stance towards the Palestinian cause and its support for the Palestinian people to achieve their legitimate national rights.
