The General Authority of Customs Monday said the Maritime customs at Ruwais Port has foiled the smuggling of cannabis weighing 4.2kg in to the country.
The contraband was hidden inside the engine of a refrigerated truck carrying a shipment of vegetables, the Customs said in a tweet.

The contraband was detected in cooperation with the Police Canine Section in the Ministry of Interior, added the tweet.
