Northwesterly fresh to strong winds (Bawarih) are expected to continue affecting the country during the daytime until June 14, the Qatar Met department has said.
The winds will range in speed from 15-25 knots, gusting to 30 knots in some places at times, causing blowing dust especially in the open areas, according to the weather office.
A marine warning for strong winds and high seas is expected to start from Monday evening , with the wave height ranging from 4-8ft and rising to 12ft at times.
Hot weather will continue during the daytime and the maximum temperature will ranged from 36-48C and the minimum from 24-34C.
