The graduation ceremonies of nine colleges for female students at Qatar University (QU) were held individually.
These ceremonies included the College of Business and Economics - First Group and Second Group, College of Education, College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, College of Law, College of Engineering, College of Health Sciences, College of Pharmacy and College of Arts and Sciences - First Group, Second Group and Third Group.

The College of Business and Economics at Qatar University held a graduation ceremony for its 43rd batch of Graduate Studies, Management, Marketing and Management Information Systems (First Group) graduates in the presence of Khalifa bin Jassim al-Kuwari, director-general of Qatar Fund for Development, who served as the guest of honour.
In the presence of Sheikha Hanadi Nasser bin Khaled al-Thani, founder and chairman of Amwal, CEO of Nasser Bin Khaled Group, chairman of the Board of Directors of Injaz Qatar and guest of honour at QU's College of Business and Economics ceremony, graduates of the departments of Accounting, Economics and Finance (Second Group) were honoured. The number of female graduates in the college's second cohort reached 279.
Sheikh Dr Mohamed bin Hamad al-Thani, director of the Ministry of Public Health's Public Health Department, was the guest of honour at QU's College of Engineering, College of Health Sciences, and College of Pharmacy graduation ceremony, which honoured 356 female students.
Judge Ibrahim Saleh al-Nisf, a judge of the Court of Cassation and a member of the Supreme Judiciary Council, was guest of honour at the joint ceremony of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies and College of Law. The number of honoured female graduates reached 265 from both colleges.
The College of Education at QU held a graduation ceremony for 381 of its graduates from the 43rd batch of graduates in the presence of Prof Hissa Mohamed Sadiq, a part-time professor at Qatar University and former dean of the college, where the graduates were honoured by the dean of the college. Faculty members and officials were present.
The first batch of 206 female graduates were honoured with specialisations in Mathematics, Statistics, Chemistry, Biology, Environment, Sports Sciences, English and Arabic in the presence of HE Dr Ibrahim bin Saleh al-Nuaimi, undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, as guest of honour at the College of Arts and Sciences graduation ceremony.
The second batch included graduates in the following disciplines - History, Sociology, Social Work and Psychology - and the total number of female graduates reached 300. This was held in the presence of Dr Aisha Yusuf Omar al-Mannai, director of Muhammad bin Hamad Al-Thani Center for Muslim Contribution to Civilisation at the College of Islamic Studies (CIS), Hamad bin Khalifa University, was the guest of honour.
In the presence of Fatma Alremaihi, CEO of Doha Film Institute and guest of honour of the QU College of Arts and Sciences ceremony, the college organised the third-group ceremony to honour its graduates for the 43rd batch, Class of 2020, in these specialisations: media, international affairs and politics. The total number of female graduates in this ceremony was 381.
