Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecommunications company, has taken part in a key panel discussion at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
Ooredoo’s executive director (Business), Thani al-Malki, joined a panel discussion on the 'Digital Transformation of Business'. The panel discussion – a joint panel session with Qatar Financial Centre and Business Russia – featured input from a number of senior representatives from both Qatari and Russian entities.
He provided valuable insights into Ooredoo’s approach to digitalisation, its strategy, its successes so far and the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the progress of the digital journey.
"As a leading telecommunications operator, digital transformation is at the heart of our company, and participating in valuable discussion with other major entities in Russia was of immense value to Ooredoo. We extend our thanks to the organisers of SPIEF for the opportunity to join the panel discussion, and look forward to other such sessions throughout the remaining days of the event,” al-Malki said.
