MES Indian School bagged the best school team award in the Inter-School Polemic Challenge recently organised by Shantiniketan Indian School on the virtual platform.
In a contest that witnessed stiff competition from contestants representing various Indian schools, Neha Alex and Johnpaul Lorance of MES, who spoke with great oratorical skills for and against the motion respectively, earned the best school title of the competition.
A total of 16 students from eight Indian schools participated in the event to speak for and against the motion, ‘School examination should be redesigned to be online during the pandemic and beyond.’ MES team of debaters comprised Johnpaul Lorance and Neha Alex.
Hameeda Kadar, principal of MES, congratulated the winners and the teachers who trained the students for their significant accomplishments. All the participants of the contest were given certificates of participation on the occasion. D A S Rex Rameesh Fathima, Magdalene Sylvia and Sreejithalong with a team of teachers from Department of English trained the students.
