The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary closure of Al Bidda Street main lanes in the direction towards 5/6 Interchange while keeping right turns and two lanes in the opposite direction open for traffic from the dawn of June 4 for 12 hours. The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to allow the completion of road works. Road users heading towards 5/6 Interchange will be required to turn right towards Neewat Hashaf Street, then make a U-turn at Sheraton Intersection, then turn right to continue on Omar Al Mukhtar Street and onto their destinations. Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and all are requested to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
