Long-time Doha resident and managing director of Target Logistics, B. Gopakumar, 62, passed away at the Hamad Hospital in Doha following a brief illness, on Saturday.

His mortal remains are being  flown to Kerala, India, on Wednesday.

The funeral will take place at his native place Ambalapuzha, in  Kerala, Thursday.

Gopakumar has been in Qatar for the past 25 years.

He leaves behind his wife Kala, son Nikhil (Manager, Target Logistics) and daughter Nimisha (UN, Geneva).
