The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary closure for six hours on the exit from Bani Hajer to Dukhan, at the Bani Hajer Interchange, from May 27 (Thursday) midnight until 6am on May 28 (Friday). The closure, which will be implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, has been announced in order to enable work as part of Khalifa Avenue Project.
Road users on Shahama Street from Bani Hajer heading towards Dukhan will be able to use Bani Hajer Underpass, make a U-turn at Al Shafi Interchange and than use the underpass and bridge leading to Dukhan at Bani Hajer Interchange, Ashghal has said on Twitter. The authority will instal road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure everyone's safety.
