The department of Painting + Printmaking (PARR) at Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar (VCUarts Qatar) – a Qatar Foundation partner university – has invited the public to ‘EMERGE’, a "first-of-its-kind" online talk marathon featuring the latest cohort of PAPR students to graduate from the programme.
The talks will be held from May 24 to 26 between 4pm and 5pm local time, and will see Class of 2021 PAPR students Ameena al-Boinin, Alanood al-Thani, Khawla al-Akbari, Hissa al-Sulaiti, Almaha Nasser and Almaha al-Maadeed share their ideas, inspirations and aspirations with the public, VCUarts Qatar has said in a statement, adding: "If you want to meet some of Qatar’s finest upcoming artists, here’s the chance."
