Nest International Academy and Research Center (NIARC) Qatar chapter recently elected its new office-bearers. They are: Taha Hamza, management committee chairman; Shanahas Edodi, general secretary; Siraj Abdul Qadir, treasurer; Shahajar, vice chairman; Khalid C P, vice chairman; Mohammad Ali Manar, secretary; Jaffar Thangal, secretary; Rasik K V, organising secretary; Nabeel V P’ chief accountant; Faisal Moosa, convener public relations; Mustafa Eenam, convener event management; Shafiq, convener youth service; and Roji Mathew, convener members welfare.
New advisory council also came into being for NIARC. Ashraf K P, MD of Welcare Groups and chairman of NIARC global committee, is elected as chief patron. The other members are: Hameed M T, chairman; and Raman Nair, vice chairman. Former management chairman Basheer V P, Mohammad Ali K K V, Sameer Eramala and Hamza KK will be members of the advisory council.
NIARC is an institute which maintains international standards for the care and training of children with disabilities like autism. It is functioning in Koyilandy Municipality in Kozhikode, district of Kerala. NIARC offers voluntary services for needy and a variety of tests with latest technologies to diagnose a child's entire disabilities. The well qualified staff and advanced therapy systems ensure the better consolation and could bring the children into the mainstream society. NIARC was awarded the Kerala State Award in yesteryear for its outstanding service and performance.
The present premises couldn’t provide treatments for more than 200 patients while plenty of applications are pending. New premises can accommodate 800 patients in 33,000 sq. feet facility. It is under construction in order to overcome present constraints and shall ensure the ample services. The organisers thank all affable persons for supporting NIARC in its path to help the needy.
