DPS-Modern Indian School (DPS-MIS) Doha kindergarten team celebrated Mother’s Day for four consecutive days.

On the first day, children were encouraged to make a card for their mums. On the second day, nursery children were told to cook some dessert and Prep children were told to bake cakes for their mothers with the help of their dads.

The third day was dedicated to a health awareness workshop, with the fourth day seeing a special assembly.

There was a virtual awareness workshop for mothers conducted by Dr Rati Barman (Obstetrics and Gynecology).

Dr Barman highlighted the most commonly faced problems by the women such as Polycystic Ovarian Disease and Premenstrual Syndrome.

The celebration continued with a special virtual assembly which started of with an opening address by kindergarten headmistress Najla Mohd Bukhari.

This was followed by kid's speeches, prayer, AV presentation, poem, and a yoga session.

The yoga session was conducted by certified yoga trainer Nisha Agarwal.

The assembly was graced by principal Asna Nafees and vice principal Shifa Shaikh.

The tiny tots presented cards to their mothers and made the day special.

The mothers thanked the KG team by posting online messages.
