* beIN Media Group to broadcast Sony Pictures’ blockbuster titles following multi-year content deal
 
 
beIN Media Group and Sony Pictures Television (SPT) have announced a major multi-year content deal covering the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) and Turkey.
The deal will bring some of the biggest Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) feature films, including exclusive first and second window rights of the best movies and series, to viewers of beIN’s entertainment channels in Mena such as beIN Movies and beIN Series – from family favourite blockbusters to critically acclaimed classics, as well as some of the most popular television series of recent years, according to a press statement.
As part of the deal, a number of highly anticipated blockbusters are expected to flow to beIN from SPE’s slate of upcoming titles.
The slate includes ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’, ‘Uncharted’, ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ and ‘Hotel Transylvania: Transformania’.
Additionally, the deal covers some of the most exciting current titles in the SPE library, including ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ (2019), ‘Greed’ (2020), ‘The Broken Hearts Gallery’ (2020), ‘The Craft: Legacy’ (2020), ‘Bloodshot’ (2020) and the award-winning ‘Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood’ (2019).
Films from the hugely popular ‘Men In Black’, ‘Resident Evil’, ‘Karate Kid’ and ‘Insidious’ franchises will also be coming to beIN viewers in Mena and movies like ‘Smurfs’, ‘Charlie’s Angels’ and ‘Bad Boys’ will be coming to beIN viewers in Turkey.
In addition, the deal includes exclusive new and returning SPT series on beIN such as ‘Justified’, ‘Into the Dark’, ‘S.W.A.T’, ‘Goldbergs’ and ‘Pandora’; popular library series available both for Mena and Turkey, including multi-seasons of ‘The Good Doctor’ and ‘Community’, among others.
