In line with the cabinet decision based on Law No. 17 of 1990 regarding infectious diseases, the competent authorities Wednesday referred 385 persons to the prosecution for violating Covid-19 preventive and precautionary measures in force.
While 344 were not wearing a mask, 17 violated the ban on gatherings in closed places, 21 did not maintain a safe physical distance, one violated quarantine requirements and two persons were booked for not installing the Ehteraz app, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) tweeted. The competent authorities urge the public to adhere to the precautionary and preventive measures in force to protect them and others from the spread of coronavirus, the MoI added.
