The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in co-operation with Jaidah Automotive, announced the recall of Chevrolet Tahoe, and Suburban models of 2021, due to a possible malfunction in the third-row seat belts.

The MoCI also announced, in co-operation with Mannai Trading Company, the recall of GMC Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade model of 2021, due to a possible defect in the installation of the third-row seat belt, which may lead to its failure to operate.
The recall campaign comes within the framework of the MoCI’s continuous efforts to protect consumers and ensure that dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs. The MoCI said that it will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and will communicate with customers to ensure that they carry out the necessary repairs.
