Techno Blue has opened its 13th outlet dedicated to the latest in electronics, computing, appliances, air-conditioners, gadgets, and networking products at Souk Ain Khalid on Salwa Road (next to Ooredoo and QNB), it was announced on Tuesday.
The two-level specialty electronics store has been designed taking into consideration the social distancing concept, as part of the Covid-19 precautionary measures, a statement said.
Showcased are the latest Samsung televisions, cooking appliances, refrigerators, washing machines, and cleaning appliances; laptops, net working devices and accessories from Asus, Linksys; ROG Gaming and high-performance computers and accessories; and a dedicated display and demo area for high end built-in appliances from Zanussi.
Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Althani, chairman of Techno Blue commented that “the huge investment that has been done to open this outlet, shows our confidence in the resilience of Qatar’s economy and what future has to offer”.
"With FIFA 2022 just 18 months away, the pace of economic activities, with disciplined pandemic response, is picking up. Huge projects in the energy sector is poised to bring in more economic stimulus to the local economy. That is the confidence based on which we are now making huge investments, not only on this showroom but in many other related ventures.”
Andrew Shin, president of Samsung Qatar commented that Samsung is always in the forefront of cutting-edge innovation and during 2021 it will launch 'many exceptionally exciting' new products in televisions and appliances. "These products will be available in Qatar within the next couple of months," he added.
The showroom with its by multi-lingual staff offers expert pre-sales consulting and the display paths are designed to enhance customer experience. "Backed up by relevant after sales service and logistics support for delivery and installations customers can have a seamless shopping experience and enjoy a true value for their purchases," the statement added.
