Thundery rain is expected in the country today along with strong winds in some places at times, the Qatar Met department has said. Offshore areas are also likely to see thundershowers at first along with windy conditions and high seas. The wind speed may go up to 32 knots inshore and 30 knots offshore during thundery rain, with the sea level rising to 9ft. The detailed forecast says cloudy conditions are expected today and there is a chance of scattered rain, which may become thundery in some places at times. Similar conditions are also likely offshore, followed by fine weather. The temperature is expected to range from 27-33C in Doha today.
