The Health Control Department of the Municipal Control Department at Al Daayen Municipality carried out 505 inspection rounds in April on food establishments. The campaign resulted in issuing 15 reports of violations in accordance with the provisions of Law No 8 of 1990 regarding the regulation of human food control. The department is continuing its evening campaigns on kitchens, restaurants and consumer complexes. A total of 86 inspection campaigns were carried out since the beginning of Ramadan. The inspections will be intensified on sweets and chocolate shops in preparation for Eid al-Fitr and following up the extent to which they and their workers comply with special food specifications.
