Velicham, a popular system introduced in Qatar for learning the Holy Qur’an, recently announced the commencement of its third phase.
Shafeek Kabeer, founder and CEO of Azym Technology, inaugurated the third phase.
The programme was organised on Zoom platform, and was presided over by Dr Abdul Ahad Madani, chairman of Velicham Qatar chapter.
Velicham first phase began in Qatar in 2011 with a duration of three years.
Following its successful completion, the second phase was launched having a five-year plan, which recently released its final 30th module.
During the pandemic, Velicham developed its online platform and continued the Holy Qur’an learning process without interruption.
The phase-3 incorporates more features enhancing the learning process, such as Eman, Sirathunnabi, Seerathussahaba, Tajweed and Fiqhi guidelines.
Mohamed Ali Ottappalam, Velicham Qatar chapter chief co-ordinator, welcomed the function.
Unais Pappinisseri, renowned Islamic scholar from Kerala, delivered the keynote speech.

Zubair Wakra (Velicham general convener) proposed a vote of thanks; and Mohamed Najaf performed Qur’an recitation.
