HE the Minister of Culture and Sports HE Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali on Sunday reviewed the progress of the 'Innovation Makers Oasis' at Qatar Scientific Club (QSC).

The minister was briefed about the centre, innovation incubator, engineering design corner and digital workshops and laboratories, a statement said. He was also briefed about the upcoming library at the QSC and all electronic devices that the club provides to innovators.

The 'Innovation Makers Oasis', an advanced technological platform in the region, was set up and being developed since 2020 by the QSC with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports. It is to be launched this year and function with the aim of keeping pace with the technological development that depends on the techniques of the fourth industrial revolution.

The 'Innovation Makers Oasis' provides an effective work environment that encourages innovators and entrepreneurs to continue developing their project models until the production stage while providing spaces to those with technical specialties. These include the fields of engineering design, digital fabrication, modeling and electronics, computing, robotics, artificial intelligence and production mechanics.
