Ideal Indian School (IIS) held the investiture ceremony recently for the Student Council for the academic year 2021-22.
Owing to the current pandemic, the ceremony was organised online.
The new student council of Boys’, Girls’ and Junior Sections were administered oath of their office by principal Syed Shoukath Ali.
Members of the students councils for Boys’ Section are; head boy - Aswin Arunkumar, assistant head boy - Ibrahim Ahmed, cultural secretary - Hesham Ahsan, sports secretary - Nishank Shetty, assistant cultural secretary - Aman Hashim, assistant sports secretary — Fahad Abdullah, head prefect - Ali Mohammed, head scout Abdel Rahman and assistant head sout - Aromal Narayanan.
For the Girls’ Section, the members are: head girl - Aryanandha Devi, assistant head girl - Hanin Shamsheer, cultural secretary - Samiya Shiraj, sports secretary – Fathma Suraif, assistant cultural secretary – Anjali Devi, assistant sports secretary- Aseel Mohammed, head prefect - Gayathri Satheesh, head guide - Amritha Nandakumar, and assistant head guide - Muna Mushthak.
Apart from these, prefects, house captains, vice captains and sports captains from the four houses of boys’, girls’ and junior sections were also sworn in to their offices.
Activity co-ordinator, house co-ordinators, housemasters and house mistresses were also inducted on the occasion.
Nisha Raj, Sreedevi P T, and Ajmal K K are the house co-ordinators of the Junior, Girls’ and Boys’ section respectively.
In his keynote address, the principal appreciated and congratulated the newly-elected members.
He advised them to be role models and extended a supporting hand to the students’ council for the smooth running of the school.
Head girl Aryanandha Devi welcomed the gathering and head boy Ashwin Arunkumar proposed a vote of thank.
