The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (Nawa), with support from the Polish embassy in Doha, is organising virtual education fairs for students from Arab countries today.
The virtual fairs will be held from 9am until 5pm at www.rsgp.webexpo.pl
Tomasz Sadzinski, deputy head of mission at the embassy, emphasised that the initiative reflects the growing interest among foreigners, including graduates from colleges in Qatar, in studying in Poland.
“We invite all interested young people to attend. Polish universities offer very good educational value for money. In the 2019/2020 academic year, more than 82,000 foreigners studied in Poland, a growth of 5% year on year, with the cities of Warsaw and Cracow as the most popular destinations,” he said in a statement yesterday.
The fairs will consist of a number of events held by Nawa. Students and alumni from the Arab countries and selected universities will present education and career opportunities in Poland – without intermediaries and fees.
Live chat/Skype will enable one-to-one consultations, so that prospective students can get in touch with more than 50 leading Polish universities of medicine, technology and economics.
Nawa (www.nawa.gov.pl) is a specialised agency of the Polish government that supports the international mobility of Polish students, academics and researchers, as well as foster the development and promotion of science and higher education in Poland.
