The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), represented by the Public Parks Department, in co-operation with the Elite Paper Recycling Company, organised an event within the initiative to Plant One Million Trees. The ambassadors of South Korea, Hungary and Switzerland were present, according to a MME statement. Various trees suitable for the Qatari environment were planted. MME has urged all entities, institutions and community members to contribute to the initiative.
