Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has stressed the need for people in Qatar to donate blood.
"It’s more important than ever to ensure we have sufficient blood supplies. You can make a difference by becoming a blood donor by visiting one our dedicated Blood Donor Centers," HMC said in a tweet on Tuesday.
The Blood Donor Center next to Hamad General Hospital is open from 8am to 1pm and from 6pm until midnight, Saturday to Thursday. It is closed on Fridays.
The New Blood Donor Center opposite the Outpatient Department, next to Surgical Specialty Center, is open from 6pm until midnight, Saturday to Thursday. It is closed on Fridays.
Both the Souq Waqif and Msheireb mobile units are open from 8pm until midnight, Sunday to Saturday (including Friday).
