The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a three-month traffic shift on a part of Al Corniche Street in one direction to parallel road with same number of lanes from Friday. The diversion in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to enable stormwater network construction works, within Doha Central Development & Beautification Project – Package 4. The traffic diversion will start from Al Diwan Interchange towards the intersection between Al Corniche Street and Hamad Al Kabeer Street. Dedicated left turn from Al Corniche Street to Jasim Bin Mohammed Street will be reduced from two to one lane while keeping two lanes at Al Diwan Interchange traffic signal open.
The traffic diversion will start from Al Diwan Interchange towards the intersection between Al Corniche Street and Hamad Al Kabeer Street.
