* Customers encouraged to continue using QIB digital channels for their banking needs remotely
 
On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, QIB has wished everyone a blessed month and announced the working hours for its operating branches.
For the safety of both customers and employees, and in line with the recently announced measures to limit the spread of Covid-19 in Qatar, QIB is encouraging customers to avoid crowded spaces and to continue using the bank’s digital channels to fulfill their banking needs remotely, 24/7 and from anywhere. Only customers with urgent and non-digitally available requests will be admitted and serviced at the QIB branches.
From today, the first day of Ramadan, mall branches, including Al Gharafa (QMall), Doha Festival City, Mall of Qatar, City Center and Dar Al Salam Mall will be open to customers Saturday to Thursday from 10am to 4pm, and closed on Fridays.
Both the Tawar Mall and Mirqab Mall branches will operate 10am to 4pm Sunday to Thursday, and both will be closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
Al Rayyan, Salwa Road, Al Khor, Al Sheehaniya, Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Centre (Fanar), Old Airport, Al Sadd, Industrial Area, Al Jazeera Media Network, Al Wakra, Ministry of Public Health and Mesaieed branches will be welcoming customers Sunday to Thursday from 9am to 2pm, and will be closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
Corporate and SME customers will be served at the Grand Hamad Street branch Sunday to Thursday from 9am to 2pm, in addition to the Salwa Road and Al Rayyan branches for cash and cheque transactions only on the same timings.
Retail customers can fulfill most of their banking needs digitally via the QIB mobile App with its more than 100 features. Services that can be performed via the QIB mobile App include requesting and managing cards, opening, and managing new or additional accounts, updating personal and tax information, transferring money locally and internationally, paying bills and more.
For corporate customers, the QIB Corporate App and Corporate Internet Banking portal remain the one-stop-shop to fulfill their essential and day-to-day banking needs, such as money transfers and salary payments, managing their accounts, cards and financing, in addition to having direct access to their customer relationship manager.
Both SMEs and large corporations can continue depositing their cheques via the Remote Deposit Cheque service from the comfort of their offices and without the need to visit a QIB branch, or via QIB’s self-service cash and cheque deposit machines, available across 40 different locations in Qatar.
