Oman reports 1480 new coronavirus cases, 13 deaths in past 24 hours

The Omani Ministry of Health announced on Monday that 1480 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were recorded in the Sultanate, with 13 deaths and 1202 recoveries.

The total number of cases registered in the Sultanate reached 173,029 and the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 reached 1,789, while the recoveries reached 153,986, bringing the recovery rate to 89%, the Ministry said in a statement carried by Oman News Agency (ONA).

Patients who have been isolated in hospitals due to infections in the past 24 hours reached 105 cases, bringing the total to 751, while patients in the intensive care units reached 234 cases, the Ministry added. (QNA)
