Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has instructed companies processing various delivery orders to comply with a set of precautionary measures to preserve the safety of citizens and residents.
As per the instructions tweeted on Friday, the temperature of delivery staff should be measured twice daily and ensure their commitment to the health and safety measures, especially wearing masks, and frequently sanitising hands.
The full name and temperature of the delivery person should be noted on each order. The vehicle used to deliver orders ought to be sterilised. Orders should be placed in plastic bags that are disposed of before delivery to the consumer, the MoCI tweet added.
