News on social media about exempting vehicles from technical inspection by Fahes is false, Qatar Fuel (Woqod) has clarified. In a post on social media yesterday, Woqod said: "We would like to draw the attention of our valued customers to the fact that the news circulated through social media about exempting vehicles from the technical inspection by Fahes is unfounded false news. "We ask all customers to take information about Fahes only from the official communication channels of Woqod or those of the Traffic Department only." Vehicles were exempted from technical inspection by Fahes for a few months during the lockdown last year.
