*Qatar, Ukraine sign several agreements , MoUs
 
 
 
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held an official talks session at the Amiri Diwan on Monday morning.
During the session, they discussed bilateral relations and means of developing and strengthening them, especially in the fields of energy, investment, transport, tourism, agriculture, infrastructure, and healthcare.
The session also dealt with a number of issues of common concern.
It was attended by a number of ministers. From the Ukrainian side, it was attended by a number of members of the official delegation accompanying the president.
Earlier upon arrival at the Amiri Diwan , an official reception ceremony was held for the Ukrainian president.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy witnessed the signing ceremony of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between the governments of the two countries at the Amiri Diwan.
The Amir and the Ukrainian president witnessed the signing of an agreement for co-operation in the legal field, an agreement for additional contributions from shareholders Qterminals, a memorandum of understanding on co-operation in the field of energy, a memorandum of understanding for joint co-operation in the field of healthcare, a memorandum of understanding between Qatar Investment Authority and State Property Fund of Ukraine, and a memorandum of understanding to attract and support investment.
They also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding on co-operation in the fields of youth and sports, a memorandum of understanding on ports, and a memorandum of understanding for co-operation in the field of agriculture and food safety.
The signing ceremony was attended by a number ministers.
From the Ukrainian side, it was attended by a number of members of the official delegation accompanying the president.
His Highness the Amir hosted a luncheon banquet at the Amiri Diwan in honour of the Ukrainian president and the delegation accompanying him.
The banquet was attended by a number of ministers.
The Ukrainian president left Doha on Monday evening after an official visit to the country.
The president and the accompanying delegation were seen off upon departure at Doha International Airport by HE the Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem al -Ali, Qatar's Ambassador to Ukraine Hadi bin Nasser al-Hajri, and Ambassador of Ukraine to Qatar Andriy Kuzmenko.
