DPS-Modern Indian School (DPS-MIS) organised a Virtual Graduation Day ceremony for the kindergartners through the Zoom platform recently.
The function was graced by chief guest T Angeline Premalatha (counsellor at the Indian embassy), members of the school management, principal, vice-principal, headmistress, parents and students.
The evening began with recitations from the Holy Qur'an by the students of the kindergarten followed by the national anthems of Qatar and India.
The chief guest commended the talented students for their confidence in displaying their oratory skills. She congratulated the school management and principal on the occasion.
DPS-MIS president Hassan Chougle and vice-president Yasir Nainar congratulated the young achievers who, on receiving their first distinction, were geared up to march ahead towards their goals and aspirations.
The annual school magazine, 'Grandeur', was also officially released at the ceremony by the chief guest. The children shared the experiences they have had over the year, while the song and dance performances of the kids left everyone awestruck.
Graduation certificates had been mailed to students prior to the online ceremony and they proudly held them up to the camera and everyone cheered.
The event came to an end with the vote of thanks delivered by kids, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries and guests for being present on this special occasion. The children said goodbye and thanked their teachers for their year in kindergarten.
