The National Group for Agriculture and Animal Products, a subsidiary of Al Mana International Holding Group, is launching its new Mazzraty dairy range, including fresh milk and labneh, at Qatar’s International Agricultural Exhibition (AgriteQ) and International Environmental Exhibition (EnviroteQ) 2021.
The exhibitions will run until March 27 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The Mazzraty fresh dairy range "marks a milestone in the company’s strategy of diversifying its product portfolio through innovation, geographical expansion and organic growth. This is also in line with its board and management’s vision of fulfilling the local market demand for healthy, natural product and contribute to Qatar’s food security", the company has said in a statement.
The company also offers a large number of other products such as poultry, organic honey, dates, fodder and organic fertilisers.
“This new product development follows the acquisition by Al Mana International Holding of the entire equity of Ghadeer Dairy Production Company. It is in line with our vision of merging the two companies to create an integrated and pioneering Qatari entity in the field of animal, dairy, poultry and vegetable production as well as dates, organic honey, fodder and organic fertilisers,” Al Mana International Holding executive director Abdulrahman al-Mana said.
“This strategy arises out of our desire to achieve national food self-sufficiency and security, to further contribute to enhancing our role in the development of the national economy and provide a distinguished level of service to our valued customers, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030,” he added.
Mazzraty dairy products will be made from source ingredients from its centralised farms and processed to the highest quality standards in world-class, state-of-the-art plants where production is free of human interaction to create 100% natural ranges without any chemicals or antibiotics, the statement notes.
“This is another pioneering development from a Qatari enterprise, which can proudly claim to the be the first in the country to evolve a full production cycle that guarantees full quality control, and the healthiest tasteful food for local consumption,” Al Mana International Holding business development manager Saad al-Mana said.
“We are confident this ‘Made in Qatar’ range will be warmly welcomed by the local market which will wish to be fully committed to the environmental and ecological plan that gives us a leading role in the pursuit of a green community in Qatar,” he added.
Mazzraty operates a fully environment-friendly production cycle using a variety of facilities to achieve 0% unused bi-product, facilities, and materials including a water treatment facility and organic fertiliser to help keep its projects free of any negative environmental impact.
The company aims to raise local environmental awareness and encourage the Qatari community to play a positive role in sustainability and containing climate change.
“We believe economic progress need not be at the expense of environmental conservation but that the two can go hand-in-hand along a sustainable path of business development and future-proofing of environmental protection for generations to come,” the executive director added.
