The Shura Council participated on Monday in the fourth meeting of the GCC-European Parliamentary Committee, which was held via videoconferencing. The meeting discussed a number of issues and reports prepared by legislative councils in the GCC countries, most notably the parliamentary dialogue between the EU and the GCC countries on energy reduction and transformation. The council was represented at the meeting by members HE Nasser bin Khalil al-Jaidah and HE Reem bint Mohamed al-Mansouri.(
