*MoPH collecting Covid vaccine feedback

One out of six adults in Qatar has received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) informed Sunday through an infographic on social media.
The weekly update shows that 134,498 doses of the vaccine have been administered in the last seven days. The total number of doses given so far since the start of the National Covid-19 Vaccination Programme is 594,613.
According to the infograph, 18.2% of the total population (16 years and above) have received at least one dose of the vaccine so far.

A further break-up of the figures reveal that 70% of people above 80 years have received at least one dose, while the corresponding figures for those above 70 and 60 years are 69.4% and 66.8%, respectively.
The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) is collecting feedback from the public on any side effects of Covid-19 vaccination.
"With any vaccine, individuals may develop side effects , and it is the same for those who have received the Covid-19 vaccine. Minor symptoms that occur after receiving a vaccine are normal and are expected as the body builds immunity," the ministry says in a section of its website dedicated to Covid-19 vaccination feedback.
The section can be accessed here.
The MoPH stressed that it is "very important" they collect information and monitor any side effects that people are having from the Covid-19 vaccine. "It is important to record symptoms for all the doses. So, please note you need to submit feedback for each dose separately. Please continue and complete the information about your side effects using this service, it should only take a few minutes," it advised.
In order to use this service, one needs to log in using his/her National Authentication System (NAS) Tawtheeq username (usually the QID) and password. In case a person did not use his/her QID, additional information will be requested to authenticate identification.
Those who do not have a NAS account can create one on this link. Also, if one forgets the NAS account credentials, they can reset the password on this link.
In a post on social media Sunday, the MoPH stressed that most people who suffer from allergies can take the Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines safely.
"However, people with a history of severe allergic reaction to any component of the vaccine should not take it," the MoPH advised.
"During the pre-vaccination assessment carried out before each vaccination, the medical team will ask the patient about any allergies and discuss this with them. Everyone receiving the vaccines is monitored for a period of up to 15 minutes following the vaccination to ensure there are no adverse reactions," it added.
