His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and President of the Republic of Seychelles Wavel Ramkalawan held an official talks session at Sheikh Abdullah Bin Jassim Majlis at the Amiri Diwan Sunday. They discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and means of developing and strengthening them, especially in the fields of trade, investment, tourism, and sports. They also discussed several issues of common concern.
After the talks, the Amir and President Ramkalawan witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding for military cooperation and a memorandum of understanding in the sports field.
A number of ministers attended the session and the signing ceremony. Members of the official delegation accompanying the President also attended. His Highness the Amir hosted a luncheon banquet at the Amiri Diwan in honour of the Seychelles president and the accompanying delegation. The banquet was attended by a number of ministers.
